April 19, 2019 On this Good Friday, we look at the crucifixion and death of Jesus from the viewpoint of the Gospel of John. Throughout Lent I have been telling an imaginary story that attempts to use John’s gospel to show how it differs from the other three gospels and how it has a different message within it. April 14, 2019 On this Sunday that we traditionally call Palm Sunday, we take one final look at the Gospel of John’s account of Jesus life before he encounters the cross of Good Friday. We will do that by looking at the arrest and trial of Jesus on the night before his death and leave the crucifixion itself for Good Friday.
